The brief
To support Castrol’s ever-growing network of independent service workshops, they held their first-ever conference which brought together 260 UK and Ireland-based Castrol Service workshops, to learn about the brand’s future strategy and discover its latest offers. Our role in all of this? To design, create and build an interactive stand that would engage delegates at the conference – and we excelled!

Our approach.
No idea is too crazy for us and in order to nail the brief, we designed and handbuilt a mini golf set-up which teed up to be a hit amongst attendees of the conference. After weeks of hard work and long nights, we finally put the finishing touches to the motorised spinning wheel of spanners. Alongside the mini golf set-up we also created the graphics to sit on the LED lightboxes, and designed and printed two separate brochures to hand out on the stand. Our work didn’t end there, as Directors, Tim and Gary, attended the event to set up and take down the stand as well as support the Castrol team in whatever way they needed.


The results.
The ‘Putt for Prizes’ stand was well received by the delegates at the conference, with a constant stream of attendees wanting to try and get that hole-in-one. This interactive stand not only grabbed attention, but also allowed Castrol employees time to educate the Castrol Network about services and new products. It was a win win all round – Castrol were able to communicate their message and attendees were engaged.
