The brief

To support one of our longest-standing clients, Knightsbridge Furniture with the launch of two brand new furniture ranges, we proposed an innovative and unique room set build that would have a captivating impact and showcase the designs of the furniture in their best light. Knightsbridge provides furniture to a wide range of service users in the healthcare industry which can make bringing the pieces to life a little trickier as props, soft furnishings and art aren’t options we can usually include, so how did we make this furniture look bright and inviting?

Our approach.

Ahead of receiving the sample pieces of furniture, we researched, and mood boarded potential options for the room set build that would be suitable for the target audience of the pieces. With this in mind, we pulled together and shared some concepts that were a little outside the box but also provided a lasting impact and could be used in all promotional material such as on the website, social media and printed collateral. The chosen option was a bright and clean environment that utilised LED lighting, tiled flooring and obscure shapes mounted to the set walls.

As always, the full room set was hand built in our in-house studio. All the walls received a fresh layer of white paint before mounting the LED backed shapes – built and cut in Knightsbridge’s very own woodwork factory! Each tile was hand laid on the floor. This clean space provided the perfect backdrop for the healthcare-focused ranges, but also gave the shot a modern and contemporary feel. Knightsbridge supplied a total of four of each new product to be shot which enabled our Stylist and Photographer to manipulate the layout of the furniture, creating visually interesting images.

The results.

A library of hero images were given to the client to be used across all marketing materials ahead of the products launching on the website. And for us? A few more photography dates booked into the diary for even more product launches coming soon.
