Keeping our eyes on the ‘pies’ with a rebranding project for Eric’s. >
Client Name
Eric's Pies
Website
It’s no secret that we love a pie here at Pure, so when Yorkshire pie maker, Eric’s, approached us to undertake a rebranding project, we couldn’t wait to sink our teeth in!
Following a recommendation from one of our existing clients, Malton Laser, Eric’s tasked us with developing a new brand identity for the company, to effectively reflect the upmarket, quality nature of the company’s pies and meat products. This new branding would then be rolled-out across a new e-commerce website, which Eric’s also asked us to design and build.
We wanted to craft a brand identity for Eric’s that evoked the homemade quality of the pie maker’s products – a characteristic that is a huge part of Eric’s legacy.
Utilising a classic script, our design team kept the logo for the brand identity very subtle, with the name of the company simply written out in a handwritten style. Natural colours and hues were selected to accompany the new logo, along with sketches of cookery tools and pie ingredients to reflect the provenance and handmade nature of the products.
Brand Collateral.
This branding has since been rolled-out across a range of Eric’s collateral including packaging, bags, aprons, vehicle livery, signage, stationery, brochures and email marketing campaigns, all designed and produced here at Pure.
Mouth Watering Food Photography.
Eric’s also called upon our photography services – we captured imagery of the pie maker’s products in our 5,000 sq. ft. studio, which has since been rolled out across the new Eric’s website.
We also travelled to Eric’s head office in Ossett to capture location photography of the company’s renowned pies being handmade. You can find out more about the Eric’s photography project here.
