The Brief

After working together on a number of projects over the years, we were officially appointed by Bowcliffe Hall on an ongoing integrated PR and marketing retainer in 2023. The aim? To position Bowcliffe Hall as one of Yorkshire’s leading wedding venues and bolster its brand awareness. In order to get Bowcliffe noticed by couples seeking a wedding venue, we have offered support in many areas of the marketing mix, as well as proactively seeking opportunities to elevate the business against its competitors.

Our Approach.

As agreed as part of Bowcliffe Hall’s retainer, we continuously use PR, email marketing, graphic design, photography, event promotion and social media support to boost its brand positioning within the wedding market.

Each month we dedicate time to proactively pitch article ideas to publications to secure Bowcliffe Hall PR coverage as well as copywriting engaging content for different events happening at the venue for their email marketing mailing list. Furthermore, our design team works tirelessly to produce eye-catching marketing materials such as brochures and event promotion pieces that have encouraged many to sign up.

In support of the PR and marketing content produced, our photography team is also utilised to capture breathtaking imagery that can be used within all our in-house design work as well as given to the client to post on social media. We also ensure to proactively stay on top of trends on social media and take time to research competitors in order to provide Bowcliffe with informed social media content ideas so that the team can post consistently.

The Results.

Through our support, Bowcliffe has secured multiple PR opportunities to promote the venue, and has also elevated email marketing rates to their exclusive member list since partnering with Pure. They receive an average of 58.7% in open rates (industry average is 21.33%), and an average click-through rate of 9.7% (1% is industry average) showcasing that the content produced by our team engages their clients.
