After rebranding from Leather & Lavender, Pure’s PR agency  worked with luxury homeware accessories brand, Howat & Hutchinson, on a dedicated, six-month PR campaign to officially launch the new brand, and its new website, to national and regional consumer and trade titles.

This involved our Leeds PR agency team utilising a host of targeted, traditional media relations tactics, including product placement, competitions/giveaways, consumer and trade press releases and journalist gifting, to effectively secure sustained consumer and trade press coverage. Howat & Hutchinson was profiled across a host of key national and regional print and online publications, including Country & Town House, Daily Express, Period Ideas, Metro, HomeStyle, Interiors Monthly and Yorkshire Post.

In order to create further buzz around Howat & Hutchinson and build momentum surrounding the new brand, Pure’s Leeds PR agency secured profiles on business owners, Jo Howat and Sallyanne Hutchinson, in key national consumer titles, including Country Homes & Interiors and Period Living.

Over the six-month activity period, we secured 33 national, trade and regional press cuttings for Howat & Hutchinson, reaching more than 4.2 million people. The PR implemented accounted for 70% of traffic to the new website, resulting in an increase in sales and heightened awareness of the brand and its offering.
