The Brief
Leading luxury homeware company, Dusk, knew where to turn to for help with conceptualising and capturing a collection of images that reflected the brand’s first-ever garden furniture launch.
Previously excelling in crafting furniture for inside the home, Dusk wanted to get ahead of the market by branching out and giving their customers affordable yet contemporary garden furniture with quick delivery so they wouldn’t miss the sunnier months in the UK.
The turnaround for getting the products on the website was short, so we jumped right into creating bespoke set designs and captured a set of exquisite visuals that are now live on their website, allowing their customers to shop the collection in preparation for the summer.
Our Approach.
Upon receiving the brief, our in-house stylist got to work with moodboarding for the launch, researching locations for the shoot, and choosing a colour palette and props that would complement the furniture. Due to the short turnaround time to get the products online, our studio team needed to chase the sun and warmer temperatures in order to hand over images that reflected a British summer time. Rural Girona, Spain was the location of choice, so the team jetted off to begin shooting Dusk’s newest range.
Before the team could head off to chase the sun, the hard work began at the office by preparing and packing all the props, organising deliveries of the products, and gathering all the equipment that would be needed. The logistics were handled by our account management team, ensuring everything was to arrive in the right place at the right time – including the Pure team! With everything ticked off and en route, we jetted off to bring Dusk’s vision to life.
Utilising different areas of the villa’s grounds and the infinite props that made the journey, our photographers captured the essence of the brand as well as our stylist’s attention to detail. The library of imagery was then retouched and sent back to the client to be published on their website where the products are now live.
The Results.
As a result of the exemplary work of our in-house stylist, Jen Fortune, on the shoot, the Dusk team asked for her to attend one of the brand’s events in London and host a workshop on the difference styling decor can make to the home. This is just the beginning of a fantastic client relationship and we look forward to working with Dusk in the future.
