PR Account Executive.

The role

We’re looking for a tenacious, enthusiastic and adaptable PR Account
Executive to join our team!

The role will involve working on a mix of UK-based and international clients, covering both B2B and B2C PR client accounts and campaigns. We’d love to see someone who has a keen interest in PR and strong copywriting skills. Agency background is preferred but not essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting Account Managers and Account Directors on the day-to-day management of client PR accounts
  • Drafting press releases, blogs, case studies and other PR-related content 
  • Pitching press content to national, regional and trade journalists, as well as arranging interviews and other opportunities on behalf of our clients
  • Responding confidently to calls and emails from the media
  • Monitoring the news and any PR opportunities for our clients
  • Monitoring media coverage and reporting to the wider team, as well as the client when appropriate
  • Drafting and scheduling social media copy with the support of the senior team
  • Monitoring and reporting on client social media channels 
  • Attending meetings with the client and actively contributing to these
  • Attending client events when needed and representing the business appropriately
  • Actively contributing to brainstorming sessions and developing fresh ideas for clients

You will need to

  • Love being creative
  • Have strong copywriting skills
  • Have a passion for PR and helping clients to achieve results
  • Work well in a team, as well as by yourself
  • Be proactive and innovative
  • Be confident with good communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications/Experience

A relevant undergraduate degree such as PR, marketing, journalism or English Literature is desirable, but not essential.

Prior experience working in a PR and/or marketing agency or press office is preferable, but not essential.
