Careers at Pure

Junior Photographer / Photography Assistant

The role

Pure Agency is a busy Leeds-based creative integrated agency, delivering exceptional photography and videography services across an array of projects. We are a medium-sized, bright and friendly team, who are passionate about creating successful marketing campaigns for our clients.

We are now seeking a creative Junior Photographer/Photography Assistant to join our team.

Some experience in commercial photography and videography is preferred, and knowledge of Capture One, Photoshop and ideally, Final Cut Pro would be beneficial, but can be taught on the job for the right candidate.

The project work is varied, from simple pack shots to complete room set photography in our studio, as well as on-location projects on a national scale.

Planning and organisational skills are imperative. You must possess a sharp eye for detail with a drive to produce quality content, whatever the subject matter.

We work with several regular clients who require room set building for product photography and the successful candidate would be required to assist with simple DIY tasks. Involvement in set building and the collection of props and materials is an integral part of the job, which requires a full UK driving licence and a minimum age of 21 years for insurance purposes.

There is a lot of on-the-job manual work within a commercial photography studio, including unpacking and repacking products to name one!

Additional to your photographic experience, it is equally as important that you are the right character with the right attitude. You will work in an exciting environment with the potential to develop your skills for a career that fits with your own aspirations.

The ideal candidate would benefit from videography experience and have a thirst for knowledge and growth. Retouching and editing skills are an essential part of the role so competence using editing software is key to the role.

As well as creating images, you will be involved in the daily operation and maintenance of our studio. At times, you will be asked to support studio assistants and freelancers.
