Digital Designer

We’re looking for a creative, hard-working and driven Digital Designer to join our fast-growing team in Leeds!

This full-time role will involve working closely with our digital team, to creatively lead digital marketing strategies and website projects for both new and existing clients. Your day to day responsibilities will range from designing large-scale websites, to social media marketing assets, digital display creative and other digital media.

However, as a full service agency, you will have the opportunity to get involved in other areas of design and creative marketing, such as branding, packaging, brochures and exhibition stands. Perfect for someone who likes a varied and interesting workload!

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the design process from concept to sign-off
  • Following strict briefs and delivering on the criteria given
  • Conceptualising award-winning standard designs
  • Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to communicate interaction and layouts
  • Leading the creative aspect of marketing strategies
  • Evaluating, defending and adapting designs based on feedback provided
  • Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards



Skills:

  • Proven agency experience as a Web/Graphic Designer
  • Demonstrable design skills within a strong portfolio
  • Experience executing website project processes (site maps, wireframes, storyboards, user flows)
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills necessary to present your designs and to build trust and respect, both with clients and the internal team
  • Expert level in XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • Good knowledge of branding, digital media and colour palettes
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS would be a bonus
  • Excellent visual skills
  • Understanding of website UX
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Current with the latest design trends
  • Efficient client management and presentation skills
  • Ability to turn insight into action
  • A positive, ambitious and collaborative team player, as part of the wider agency
  • Commercial awareness
  • Attention to detail
  • Eligible to work in the UK
