Pure wins region-wide PR account for The Ivy Collection after serving up winning formula for Leeds restaurant

004 The Ivy Victoria Quarter blooms in Leeds

Leeds-based PR agency, Pure, has boosted its food and drink portfolio after being appointed by renowned restaurant group, The Ivy Collection, to raise the profile of three of its Yorkshire restaurants.

After initially being appointed to manage the launch of the new restaurant in Leeds – which opened its doors in September 2018 – The Ivy Collection team was so impressed with the results generated by Pure’s PR experts that it’s appointed the agency to handle all PR activity for The Ivy Victoria Quarter in Leeds, The Ivy Harrogate and The Ivy St. Helen’s Square in York.

Pure’s PR specialists will utilise a multi-channel PR strategy covering traditional media relations, blogger and social media influencer engagement and digital PR to provide support for the three restaurants over the next six months.

The ongoing programme of PR activity for each restaurant will include media relations, ongoing journalist and blogger outreach, social influencer engagement and event planning and support, in order to position each eatery as a must-visit food and drink destination.

Speaking about the account win, Leanne Wilkinson, PR director at Pure Agency, said: “The results we generated for the launch of The Ivy Victoria Quarter were outstanding, and to now be brought on-board by the team to handle the PR communications for the restaurants in Harrogate and York too is the icing on the cake.

“We have extensive experience of working within the food and drink industries, as well as the leisure sector, and this appointment by The Ivy Collection further bolsters our specialist PR offer.”
